GroundGrabba Commercial GR14U Series Currently Come In Three Lengths

Most of our products are based on an augur design that effectively not only grabs the surrounding earth but also forms a kind of upside down umbrella hold that is conical shaped which also weighs down onto the augurs.

For ease of installation, no heavy equipment is needed to install our stakes, earth and ground anchors.

This saves on transportation of heavy equipment, additional investment and outlay for expensive equipment to installation and removal also space for storing larger anchors like concrete blocks.

All our screw-in stakes, earth and ground anchors have been designed to be driven into the ground with a handheld cordless drill or impact wrench.  The larger the ground anchor and the harder the ground density, the greater the torque needed to drive them in.  We have had positive feedback about the Milwaukee M18 FUEL High Torque Impact Wrench.

Made To Last

All our GroundGrabba steel earth and ground anchors are made of 1018 carbon steel that has been hot dipped galvanised for anti corrosion properties and longevity.

Unlike alloy or cast metals that are either too soft or too brittle or their hex heads wear out and round, our 1018 carbon steel ground anchors are made to last and last. Our hope is that you wear them out to a point that we will replace them under our lifetime warranty policy.

Lifetime Replacement Warranty

All GroundGrabba Pro and Junior stakes, earth and ground anchors come with a lifetime replacement warranty.  Simple: If you break them OR wear them out, we’ll replace them.

Below is a pull-out load chart with comparisons to standard hammer- in stakes of the same length and diameter steel.

Back Story – About Us

Born out of camping GroundGrabba was originally intended to replace the thousands of years old fashioned way of hammering-in stakes, to bring this age old method into the 21st century via technology which is commonly available today in the form of battery powered cordless drills.

In fact we were so successful at producing a ‘screw-in’ tent stake that we overshot the mark and ended up with a earth anchor that (depending on the model chosen and ground in use) can hold up to seven times more than a comparable length and girthed hammer-in stake.

The initial intention was to create one version that would work effectively for all ground types.  This was a folly which came to light during our prototype testing of designs. Soon we came to realise, just like shoes, cars, boats or socks, one type will not suit all purposes.  So we then worked on another version (or two) for soft grounds like sand.

Fast forward and as of today we now have thirteen models of screw-in stakes and ground anchors that cover from emergency housing, fast tent city installations to industrial models that customers use for all sorts of purposes from radio communication masts and towers to ground mounted solar pv arrays.

AND…. if you can’t find what you need in our current range we are also able to create custom builds with MOQ.
